The first quarter of this year is over too. I have joined back work from 1st April. Back to being a lawyer! I was enjoying my break from work. Anyway, lets get on to the things I loved using in the month of March. I didn’t try a lot of new products this month. My skincare and makeup routine was pretty much the same. But here are the things I was reaching for almost everyday in the past month.
The sight of completely used up, empty product bottles is so satisfying. While it is very easy to finish up shampoo bottles or maybe a moisturizer, I find it extremely hard to completely use up my makeup products. I always promise myself to first finish up my old makeup and then buy any new products. But we all know that never happens. I have been saving my empty bottles since the past 2-3 months for this post. I have, inadvertently, thrown away a few things only to later realize that I have a post to do.
Who doesn’t love products that make us look pretty and are friendly on the pocket too? My beauty stash consists of products that are highend and also drugstore. You don’t have to always burn a hole in your pocket to look good. Here is a list of 5 products that are under Rs. 500.
February was an awesome month. I cant believe it is over already. I did not change my skin care or makeup routine too much. I was pretty much using the same things this month. I did, however, buy a few new products. So read on to see what I have been loving in this past month.
Every single beauty girl owns at least one product from MAC. With so many different brands launching new products every few months, I still find myself going back to MAC most times. When you want something tried and tested, you head to MAC. But sometimes it gets a little over-whelming to enter a MAC store and pick out a lipstick from that huge range of lipsticks and finishes. Here are some of my favourite MAC lipsticks that suit most Indian skintones.
A very close friend of mine gave me a gift voucher from Sephora for my birthday, but she didn’t realize that I could redeem the voucher in the U.S. stores or for delivery only in the U.S only. So this voucher kept sitting in my inbox for a few months until one day when my sister told me that one of her very close friends, who lives in New York is coming back for winter break to India and she is willing to get my Sephora order. I literally screamed with joy. I quickly went on to the Sephora website, kept adding things to my cart, then removing it and then finally after about 2 to 3 days I placed my order. So here is what I ordered.
This is my first post of 2016. Wishing you all a very Happy New Year. 2015 was a very good year for me. I got married, travelled to new places and I also started Love Fashion Makeup. I hope 2016 is also good to me. So lets start 2016 with my 2015 favorites. This is the first part of the post, which covers only makeup. The next post will be my 2015 Skincare Favorites.
This is one of the most requested reviews. I have been using this foundation for over a year now. I bought this one just before my wedding as one of the trousseau products. I thought I could use it for the small home functions when I don’t have a makeup artist coming. What made me buy it immediately was that the SA told me it is oil free and long lasting.
Loreal launched this range of affordable compact powders a while back. Almost very blogger has reviewed this product by now. I know I am quite late on the band wagon, but that is because I didn’t like the product at all when I first used it. I did not want to recommend something that I didn’t like at all. But after using it in a different way, I started enjoying the product. Read on to see my review on this Loreal Paris Mat Magique Compact Powder.
Winter for me is all about deep dark colors, whether it is in clothes or makeup. I have a few lipsticks in my stash that I have been going back to since the onset of fall- winter. So here are my picks:
