The sight of completely used up, empty product bottles is so satisfying. While it is very easy to finish up shampoo bottles or maybe a moisturizer, I find it extremely hard to completely use up my makeup products. I always promise myself to first finish up my old makeup and then buy any new products. But we all know that never happens. I have been saving my empty bottles since the past 2-3 months for this post. I have, inadvertently, thrown away a few things only to later realize that I have a post to do.
February was an awesome month. I cant believe it is over already. I did not change my skin care or makeup routine too much. I was pretty much using the same things this month. I did, however, buy a few new products. So read on to see what I have been loving in this past month.
Last weekend my husband and I were in Goa for our anniversary. Even though It was a short 3 day trip we had a lot of fun. From gobbling down sea food like there is no tomorrow to chilling at the beach shacks, partying, relaxing spa sessions, dancing with a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary, it was all great. We also tried some places this time and loved them. We also saw a movie because we had some time before our flight back to Delhi. On this trip I carried with me a small cross body bag to keep my essentials. The bag is from Zara. It was the perfect size, neither too small nor too big. It fit everything nicely and also it went perfectly with all my outfits. Read on further to see what was in my bag.
Every girl secretly wants to be pampered and showered with gifts by her Significant Other. This post is for all the lost boyfriends and husbands out there who do know what to get for their girlfriends or wives for Valentine’s Day. This is the 2nd part of my Valentine’s Day Gift Series. Click here to read Part 1: Valentine’s Day Gift Ideas for Yourself.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I think it’s the perfect time to treat yourself to a little something, whether or not you have someone showering you with gifts. Also, I strongly believe in the quote “Charity begins at home”. I have put together a list of gifts that I would give to myself this Valentine’s Day and you can get an idea too for spoiling yourself a little.
Hello everyone and a Happy Friday to you all. As we have a long weekend coming up (if you take an off on Monday), I thought this is the perfect time to share what I do to unwind and relax. I feel it is very important to take some time off for yourself. We get so busy with our hectic schedule that we forget to give time to ourselves. So this is what I like to do after a long, busy day.
A very close friend of mine gave me a gift voucher from Sephora for my birthday, but she didn’t realize that I could redeem the voucher in the U.S. stores or for delivery only in the U.S only. So this voucher kept sitting in my inbox for a few months until one day when my sister told me that one of her very close friends, who lives in New York is coming back for winter break to India and she is willing to get my Sephora order. I literally screamed with joy. I quickly went on to the Sephora website, kept adding things to my cart, then removing it and then finally after about 2 to 3 days I placed my order. So here is what I ordered.
One whole week has passed in the new year. I had a wonderful 2015. There were so many things and events I was thankful for in 2015. I wouldn’t think twice before saying that 2015 was the best year of my life. I hope this year is as good as last year. Finally I am sitting down and writing my 2016 goals before it feels too late. This year I was very excited for the new year to begin. I, probably for the first time, have thought about how I want this year to be. I am not a believer, or I should say, follower of New Year’s resolutions, but I do have a few goals that I want to achieve this year, both personally and for my blog.
Some of you, who follow me on Instagram (my user name is @lovefashionmakeupblog) would know that I started these series called ‘Tip Tuesdays’ where I post some beauty or skincare related tips and hacks every (or most) Tuesdays.
I am posting this blog post after really long. The week before diwali was very busy for me at work. Plus with all the Diwali shopping and cleaning up I didn’t get any time to post. Those of you who follow me on Instagram and Snapchat would know that I had gone on a short family vacation to Dubai with both, my parents and my husbands parents, the next day after Diwali. So I thought this would be the best time to show you everything that I usually carry with me in my carry-on airplane bag. I am an anxious traveller and like to be prepared. Even though the flight to Dubai is not too long, I managed to get my bag quite full.
