Last weekend my husband and I were in Goa for our anniversary. Even though It was a short 3 day trip we had a lot of fun. From gobbling down sea food like there is no tomorrow to chilling at the beach shacks, partying, relaxing spa sessions, dancing with a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary, it was all great. We also tried some places this time and loved them. We also saw a movie because we had some time before our flight back to Delhi. On this trip I carried with me a small cross body bag to keep my essentials. The bag is from Zara. It was the perfect size, neither too small nor too big. It fit everything nicely and also it went perfectly with all my outfits. Read on further to see what was in my bag.
Last week I went for the India Design 2016. It was organized by Ogaan Media and presented by Asian Paints, and it took place at the NSIC Grounds from 12th -14th February, 2016. What was showcased there was a complete treat to the eyes and the best from the world of interiors. There was a wide array of gen-next talent along with some established names like The Charcoal Project, Apartment 9, Valaya Home and many more.
Buying a gift for a guy is the most difficult thing to do, or at least for me it is. My husband is very picky and most times he is content with what he has, it makes me go mad. Most of you might have already bought gifts for your boyfriends or husbands. But for those who still haven’t, here is a list of items that you can get some inspiration from.
Hello everyone and a Happy Friday to you all. As we have a long weekend coming up (if you take an off on Monday), I thought this is the perfect time to share what I do to unwind and relax. I feel it is very important to take some time off for yourself. We get so busy with our hectic schedule that we forget to give time to ourselves. So this is what I like to do after a long, busy day.
I love the idea of being organized and utilizing each and every hour of my day efficiently. But laziness takes over the better of me more often than not. I try to be more time efficient by makings to-do lists and all. So this year I decided to keep a physical planner.
I am using the Nirmala Franklin Planner (www.nirmalafranklin.com). It is a weekly, coil bound planner. The planner comes in a few different covers. I have the Rainbow cover. The cover is laminated, which makes it easier to carry around in your bags. You know it won’t start tearing off in a few months time. Each monthly section is tabbed, which is perfect because you can just open that tab instead of flipping and locating a particular month.
One whole week has passed in the new year. I had a wonderful 2015. There were so many things and events I was thankful for in 2015. I wouldn’t think twice before saying that 2015 was the best year of my life. I hope this year is as good as last year. Finally I am sitting down and writing my 2016 goals before it feels too late. This year I was very excited for the new year to begin. I, probably for the first time, have thought about how I want this year to be. I am not a believer, or I should say, follower of New Year’s resolutions, but I do have a few goals that I want to achieve this year, both personally and for my blog.
It is quite essential to change your skincare routine with the change in season. In winters, skin is more prone to getting dry and flaky. Most of my skincare routine essentially remains the same during summers and winters, however I switch up some products here and there so as to ensure my skin remains moisturized through out.
It is Christmas week already. This is my favorite time of the year. Everything is so festive. All the malls are so beautifully decorated. You get to drink Starbucks’ Toffee Nut Crunch in those red cups. Everyone is in a more relaxed mood. And the list goes on. There are few things I have been eyeing recently so thought I would share them with you. I hope Santa is reading this post 🙂
As some of you would know I went on a family vacation to Dubai recently. It was more of a touristy trip than a shopping trip. We did the desert safari, dhow cruise, marina walk etc. Me and my husband did squeeze out a little time for ourselves at night where we explored the Dubai party scene, which by the way is amazing!
