The sight of completely used up, empty product bottles is so satisfying. While it is very easy to finish up shampoo bottles or maybe a moisturizer, I find it extremely hard to completely use up my makeup products. I always promise myself to first finish up my old makeup and then buy any new products. But we all know that never happens. I have been saving my empty bottles since the past 2-3 months for this post. I have, inadvertently, thrown away a few things only to later realize that I have a post to do.
I loved, both, the Avene Rich Compensating Cream and the Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. I was using them around the October to January period when it is cold here in Delhi and they did an amazing job at keeping my skin hydrated and moisturized. I will not repurchase them as of now as I am currently trying out a few other moisturizers, but I might pick them again during the winter season. The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisturizer is something that I am not quite happy with. I did not like how it felt on my skin. It surely didn’t feel mattifying. On the other hand, I have been using The Body Shop’s Body Butters since a few years now. I absolutely love them and I cannot go a day without moisturizing my body. I have currently used up Early Harvest Raspberry, Olive and Frosted Cranberry. While Early Harvest Raspberry and Frosted Cranberry were limited edition Olive is from their permanent line. I might try out some other flavours this time. The Body Shop Body Lotion in Wild Argan smells so good, however I do not like the consistency of the body lotions, hence I will not be repurchasing them.
Batiste Dry Shampoo – this is my third bottle and I already have 2 more in stock. Cant go without it. Maybelline The Falsies Mascara is an amazing mascara. It opens up my eyes brilliantly and truly gives the effect of false eye lashes, already have bought another one. Lakme Eyeconic Kajal – don’t know how many times I have repurchased it and will probably do it forever.
Nivea Energy Fresh Deodrant – purchased a 100 times. Need I say more? I bought the Ren Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask last year and have used it very sparingly since you don’t get it in India and I loved every bit of it. It contains four acids – glycolic acid from pinneapple, lactic acid from passion fruit, citric acid from lemon, and tartaric acid from grape to create multi-action exfoliation. I use it on the days my skin feels dull and it instantly brightens my complexion. I would definitely repurchase it on my next trip abroad.
I really liked the Forest Essentials Hand Pounded Organic Fruit Scrub, it made my skin look even toned, got rid of the dead skin effectively and made it look radiant. I haven’t repurchased it yet, will be trying out a few other scrubs but might go back to it.
