With so many brands launching new products every month or so we tend to forget our trusty old brand – MAC. While I have a lot of products from MAC, I hardly own any of their eye shadows. I have 2 MAC eye shadows in those single pots that I barely use – bought randomly. I prefer eye shadow palettes as compared to single eye shadows. I just think they are easier to travel with. So recently I decided to take the plunge and make build my MAC eye shadow quad, which would consist of the 4 eye shadows that go with almost everything and perfect to create a number of different looks.
Last weekend my husband and I were in Goa for our anniversary. Even though It was a short 3 day trip we had a lot of fun. From gobbling down sea food like there is no tomorrow to chilling at the beach shacks, partying, relaxing spa sessions, dancing with a couple celebrating their 50th anniversary, it was all great. We also tried some places this time and loved them. We also saw a movie because we had some time before our flight back to Delhi. On this trip I carried with me a small cross body bag to keep my essentials. The bag is from Zara. It was the perfect size, neither too small nor too big. It fit everything nicely and also it went perfectly with all my outfits. Read on further to see what was in my bag.
Last week I went for the India Design 2016. It was organized by Ogaan Media and presented by Asian Paints, and it took place at the NSIC Grounds from 12th -14th February, 2016. What was showcased there was a complete treat to the eyes and the best from the world of interiors. There was a wide array of gen-next talent along with some established names like The Charcoal Project, Apartment 9, Valaya Home and many more.
Buying a gift for a guy is the most difficult thing to do, or at least for me it is. My husband is very picky and most times he is content with what he has, it makes me go mad. Most of you might have already bought gifts for your boyfriends or husbands. But for those who still haven’t, here is a list of items that you can get some inspiration from.
Every girl secretly wants to be pampered and showered with gifts by her Significant Other. This post is for all the lost boyfriends and husbands out there who do know what to get for their girlfriends or wives for Valentine’s Day. This is the 2nd part of my Valentine’s Day Gift Series. Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. I think it’s the perfect time to treat yourself to a little something, whether or not you have someone showering you with gifts. Also, I strongly believe in the quote “Charity begins at home”. I have put together a list of gifts that I would give to myself this Valentine’s Day and you can get an idea too for spoiling yourself a little.
A well-groomed, polished set of nails go a long way in making your appearance look more ‘put-together’. But that doesn’t mean you have to make frequent, weekly trips to the salon, even though getting a professional mani-pedi is one of my favouite treats to myself. I wish I could get my nails done professionally as often as I would like to, but with such a busy schedule, it gets difficult and not to mention, expensive. You can get a perfect manicure at home too with just a few steps and products. In the past month or so I have been giving my nails a little bit of extra attention, as I feel the winter has been drying out my cuticles.
I cannot believe how fast this month flew by. It was just a few days back when I was putting my 2015 favorites list. And here I am now, writing about my January Favorites. I don’t have too many makeup items this month, but more of skincare products. Delhi wasn’t too cold this year, but I still felt the need to hydrate my skin more than what I usually do. So here are the products I have been loving in January:
