The first quarter of this year is over too. I have joined back work from 1st April. Back to being a lawyer! I was enjoying my break from work. Anyway, lets get on to the things I loved using in the month of March. I didn’t try a lot of new products this month. My skincare and makeup routine was pretty much the same. But here are the things I was reaching for almost everyday in the past month.
Summer is approaching faster than expected. A good sunscreen is the most important weapon in your skincare routine. One thing my mother would make sure we always have on our face was sunscreen. A good sunscreen not only prevents your skim from getting tanned, it also protects your skin from the harmful rays of the sun, which lead to pre-mature ageing, pigmentation, wrinkles etc.
Recently my hair has been falling very flat after every hair wash. Also, lately I have had a few events and parties to attend almost every day. As much as I want to go to a salon to get a professional blowout every time, I don’t want to spend so much time and money. I tried a few ways and some new products to make my at-home blowout look half as decent and also to make it last for atleast 2 days.
I have extremely dry and chapped lips. At no point in time I will be without a lip balm. I have recently tried the newly released Organic Harvest Lip Balms. These lip balms come in super cute egg shaped packaging much like the EOS lip balms, which aren’t available in India.
Recently my hair has been acting very strange. Some days it feels extremely dry and on the other, extremely oily. So I thought maybe my hair has gotten used to the shampoo and conditioner I have been using so it is time to switch up my routine for sometime. I was on the look out for something that I haven’t used before. I thought I’ll give the TIGI shampoo and conditioner a try.
The sight of completely used up, empty product bottles is so satisfying. While it is very easy to finish up shampoo bottles or maybe a moisturizer, I find it extremely hard to completely use up my makeup products. I always promise myself to first finish up my old makeup and then buy any new products. But we all know that never happens. I have been saving my empty bottles since the past 2-3 months for this post. I have, inadvertently, thrown away a few things only to later realize that I have a post to do.
Maybelline recently launched the Super Stay Gel Nail polishes range in India in 23 different shades. This range of nail polishes has been around in the UK and US since a really long time now. The range consists of some very pretty shades – bright corals, subtle nudes, sexy reds etc.
It is officially summer here in Delhi and its time to get all those skirts and shorts out. Your skin needs a little extra attention as you will not be covered under layers of clothing now. While I plan to exfoliate my body every 3 days but in reality, it happens probably once a week. I get very lazy when it comes to exfoliating my body, but once I do it, I love how my skin feels for the next few days.
Who doesn’t love products that make us look pretty and are friendly on the pocket too? My beauty stash consists of products that are highend and also drugstore. You don’t have to always burn a hole in your pocket to look good. Here is a list of 5 products that are under Rs. 500.
February was an awesome month. I cant believe it is over already. I did not change my skin care or makeup routine too much. I was pretty much using the same things this month. I did, however, buy a few new products. So read on to see what I have been loving in this past month.
